At every village festival we have held a scarecrow competition over the festival weekend.

Villagers design and create imaginative, comical and clever scarecrows for the trail around the village.

Inside each festival programme will be a voting slip for visitors to choose their favourite scarecrows and completed voting slips can be posted in voting boxes outside the village shop and village hall.

 

Judging will be by a public vote made by all visitors to the village throughout the weekend. This is a great way to be involved with MarchingtonVillage Festival

 

Scarecrows must be placed outside your property by 8.30 am on Saturday 22nd June in order to receive your number for voting..
