Marchington Festival at a Glance

Marchington Festival at a Glance

A Bit About Us - The History

Marchington is a small picturesque village in East Staffordshire, England. It lies between the towns of Burton upon Trent and Uttoxeter.

Every year in June, we hold a village festival bringing together our village organisations for an action-packed weekend of fun! Open Gardens, sporting events, food, art and craft events, live music, and much more!

Marchington will come alive with a whole range of exciting activities and attractions for the community to get involved in.

Marchington Village Festival was established in 2015 to unite our community and celebrate its many societies, groups and organisations. 12 groups participated in the inaugural 2-day festival in June 2016, including music, art, cultural and sport societies as well as the village school, church, community shop, public houses and almshouses.

Activities included sporting and musical events, open gardens, flower festival, and art and craft exhibitions.

Since 2016 the festival has continued to grow, with more groups participating and more events, plus the evening events in a marquee.

Please come and join us for a brilliant week-end.
